Members are welcome to attend along with the Committee to make these our main General Meetings.  Members can raise workplace issues, join in discussions and help with decision making.  Free refreshments for all those attending.

Tues 8 May. SW Region - School Reps Briefing

5.30 pm.  Queen Elizabeth School, Wimborne. See Agenda (left hand column).  Item 6 Focus/Theme - Gender equality in pay and promotions.  If you have evidence of unfair or dubious practices in your workplace, this is the opportunity to bring things to light and discuss actions.

Mon 25 June. Dorset NEU (NUT Section) General Meeting

5.30 pm. The Blandford School.  (See agenda (left hand column).  Item 6 Focus/Theme  -  Workload and Worklife balance.  Does your school have a proper directed time schedule and calendar of events, do you have a designated governor for staff wellfare, do you have an agreed or an imposed marking policy?  This meeting will look at ways of complying with Government and Ofsted initiatives to reduce workload.
