Welcome to Medway NUT.

 Welcome to Medway's NUT site. We are by the far the largest teaching union in our authority and an exceptionally active group too. We have in the last year supported our members in many ways, the following is just a selection of some of the ways:

- negotiations and meetings at individual schools

-disciplinary and capability meetings

-ill health /return to work meetings

-redundacy consultations 

- taking an active part in national campaigns, such as on

  pensions

-representing Medway teachers at national events and on NUT

 Advisory Groups

We also have fun - 

-If you are a NQT who has just started teaching in Medway keep your eyes open on here for details about our NQT events.

-We run a trip over to Europe , Brugge or Bolougne being  popular destinations.

- We support the Love Music Hate Racism Festival held each year at the Command House Pub

-A delegation to Tolpuddle really enjoyed the weekend. The Medway banner  was taken on the march and we were the only association in the  South East represented that year

-We also take a group each year to our National Confernce.
