Pensions

 

 

  The Government wants you to pay more, work longer and get less.

·         Pay more: your contributions could rise by more than 50%

 

·         Work longer: you may have to work to age 68 or even longer for a full pension

 

·         Get less: you will get a lower pension if you choose to retire at 60 and lose further tens of thousands of pounds during your retirement due to the switch from RPI to CPI

Oldham wins North-West recruitment award

 

Our congratulations go out to our membership secretary Frank Hill who won an award at this year's NUT National Conference for all the hard work and dedication he has put in recruiting and retaining members for Oldham NUT. The award was presented by Christine Blower, the NUT General Secretary. More details on the Join Us page.

 

 

 

A representative in every school!  

Our recruitment officers Bryan Beckingham and Peter Morgan are visiting schools in the borough and have had a lot of success in encouraging colleagues to join the union and members to become their school NUT representatives.
