About us
NUT Powys is organised as a multi association division. It is based geographically on the administrative authority of Powys County Council.
Currently there are 3 local constituent associations, Breconshire, Radnorshire and Montgomeryshire.
Each association has its own independent structure and lay officers.
These associations also provide elected delegates to attend NUT County meetings organised by the NUT Powys Division.
NUT Powys Division runs meetings each term and provides the official link to Powys County Council for negotiating purposes.
Next meeting Thu. 02/04/09.
NUT Powys Division provides elected delegates to the Powys County Council Joint Consultative Committee with additional representation on the Schools Forum.
NUT Powys Division also has formal links with NUT Cymru as well as NUT Headquarters in Hamilton House.
Elected delegates/representatives attend All Wales Council meetings and training events as well as Divisional briefings and training organised by Hamilton House.
Elected representatives represent NUT Powys Division at NUT Annual Conference.
