The History of Our Association or Division

The website aims to provide information, support, advice and guidance on both local and national matters.  We meet regularly to discuss matters relevant to teachers in the Rhondda-Cynon-Taf area.  the Association is part of Wales NUT Cymru Regional Office based in Cardiff.  David Evans is the Welsh Secretary and further information and contact details can be found here:  Wales Office .

Our History

Originally operating as a separate Associations, the Rhondda-Cynon-Taf Associations now combines the former Rhondda, Cynon, Taff and Pontyclun Associations.  The area we cover mirrors that of the Rhondda-Cynon-Taf local authoty.

Teacher Support Network

The call centre dealing with calls to the Teacher Support Network Helpline is based in Treforest and R.C.T. Association recently made a donation to their valuable work.  Mike Harris is seen here presenting a cheque to Jessicca Davies, Communications Manager for Teacher Support Cymru.
