Wales Executive
NUT National Executive and Wales Members.
The NUT is one Union serving two nations and dealing with two governments of equal status.
The NUT is both a teachers’ trade union and a union concerned with the welfare of, and the educational provision for, children.
The Annual National Conference is the supreme policy making body of the Union.
The job of the National Executive is to implement and monitor conference policies as well as to provide direction for the general work of the Union. It also has a responsibility for the prudent control of finances (Members subscriptions) and to ensure efficient and appropriate services to members.
Wales is represented by 3 National Executive Members who are elected biennially.
