The National Union of Teachers is both a professional association and a trade union. It is the largest and most influential teachers' organisation in Europe, recruiting only qualified teachers, or those who are on courses or in posts that will lead to teacher qualification.

If you have previously been a member of the NUT, please do not complete the online form. To reinstate your membership, please call Records and Subscriptions on 020 7380 6369 (Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm).

Please note that the NUT cannot provide legal assistance for an incident which occurred while you were not in membership.
