Another victory over facebook abuse

Another of our members has successfully removed an offensive page from Facebook. Facebook are obliged to remove offensive material posted by pupils. Simply go on to the page and click the "report" button and report the offensive material, making sure to insist that Facebook remove the page. If there is an admin for the page contact the admin to insist that it is removed.Then post the URL (web address) to wstalearn(at)yahoo.co.uk and we will follow it up.

OFSTED on trial

What has the NUT ever done for us?

Our blog The WSTA blog has an analysis of the calls to the helpline.By far the top issues are ill health, pay and bullying. Teachers are sick of being underpaid and bullied. Workload was also a major concern of our members and a probable cause of the health problems of teachers.
