The History of Our Association or Division

Wolverhampton Teachers' Association is the historical name for the Wolverhampton Division of the NUT. The WTA was actually formed before the NUT was established and later affiliated to the National Organisation. We still retain that name, although members probably know us better as Wolverhampton NUT.

Wolverhampton is a single Association Division. That means that we only represent members and carry out negotiations within the City boundaries of Wolverhampton

MEDICAL AID FOR PALESTINIANS

Before Israel launched its military attack, Gaza had already suffered 18 months of blockade on its land and sea borders. The blockade meant that supplies of critical medicines, in addition to food, fuel and gas, were desperately low.

You can learn more about what is happening in Gaza and the work that MAP is doing by clicking on the link in our Links page.
