wolverhampton NUT section

The History of Our Association or Division

The Wolverhampton Division of the NUT was originally known as Wolverhampton Teachers Association (WTA). The WTA was actually formed before the NUT was established and later affiliated to the National Organisation. Some  members probably still know us as the Wolverhampton Teachers Association.

Wolverhampton is a single Association Division. We only represent members and carry out negotiations within the City boundaries of Wolverhampton.

We represent teachers in all settings whether centrally employed or in Community, Foundation, Voluntry Aided, or Voluntary Controlled Schools and  Academies.
