Help us run our Union branch

We are looking for people to join our Committee. No previous experience is necessary; just a desire to help the union in its struggle to defend state education and to protect teachers' pensions, salaries and conditions of service in the face of the government’s attempt to dismantle the welfare state. The Committee meets twice a term. You can be nominated for one of the officer positions (see list below) or else a non-officer Committee member. Vice-President - Treasurer - Secretary - Assistant Secretary - Membership Secretary  - Press Officer - Communications Officer - Equal Opportunities Officer - Health and Safety Officer - Special Needs Officer - Retired Section Secretaries (Huntingdon / Cambridge) - Retired Section Treasurers - 5 non-officer members - 9 Conference Delegates

We are also looking for people to be delegates at next year’s National Conference in Brighonl and are keen to have members who have never attended the Conference before - it’s good fun and all expenses are paid.
